Posts: 20218 Location: oswego, il | Bass boats are not the perfect boat for big water but you can do it. The problem running are the swells. When the waves are close you can get on top but swells will cause the boat to hop off of its pad, even small ones. Edited by ToddM 8/3/2017 1:56 PM | ||

If I'm spending that kinda money for a 22 foot boat it better be able to seat at least 4 people! | ||

Posts: 228 Location: Tinley Park, IL | Another consideration is fishing in the bassboat in waves. You're going to douse your deck in 2'-3' waves when the occasional bigger wave hits. Doesn't happen nearly as often in a deep V. | ||

Posts: 1209 | I compleately agree that I'm my 20' bass boat 3' waves will occasionally come up on the deck for a light rinse. But I see them coming and step off the troller towards the back 2-3' and then it doesn't. If I ever had (one of my two) warrior walleye boats water come over the bow I would be afraid for everyone's safety. Honestly never been close. | ||
