Posts: 41 | I can't figure out which issue I'm missing from 1995. I have 5, not 6. Did they print a December issue in 1995? It looks like Musky Hunter was transitioning which months they were labeling the publications at that time. Is there someone with a complete collection from that era that can fill in the blanks for me? Here's what I have from 1994/1995: Feb/Mar 1994 Apr/May 1994 June/July 1994 August/Sept 1994 Oct/Nov 1994 Dec 1994/Jan 1995 Feb/Mar 1995 May 1995 July 1995 Sept 1995 Nov 1995 1996 starts with January again. Any insight would be appreciated

Posts: 665 Location: Twin Cities, MN | They did print a December issue. I did not get one originally, but by the time I figured it out, they were already out of their back up copies. There was an issue with the mail service, so quite a few people did not get one. They sent me a photocopied copy back them, but was never able to find one to complete my old set. Paulski

Any insight would be appreciated You did not miss an issue. What is labeled "January 1996" on the cover was the December 1995/January 1996 issue. You can verify this by looking at the bottom of the left side interior pages. The thinking at the time was to place the second month of the issue date on the cover because some retailers were pulling the issue from their newsstands early. The idea ended up causing more confusion than it was worth, so we went back to listing both months on the cover with the April/May 2000 issue. Musky Hunter has never missed an issue and has published every other month continuously since its founding in 1989. Steve Heiting Edited by Steve Heiting 7/5/2017 3:27 PM
