Is this area worth exploring late July or more of an early season area? I have been up there once passing through to Obabikon and Miles but thinking about fishing it a bit this season. Thanks

It's not bad but almost every time I've gone through there, there is boats fishing. I go to LOTW to get away from people not to wait in line to fish spots...

Windy days are popular. If you go in there, fish the Lilly pads in the back channel. One year we pulled a 49, 47, 44 and 42 in one drift thru there. Sitting right in the pads. We felt like bass fishing with surface baits making 20 foot casts. Little bit of a difference between 16 inch bass and 45 inch muskies. That was mid August.
