Location: Pelican Lake/Three Lakes Chain | The last couple days the moon phase, or more accurately the weather pattern has been treating me like a baby treats its diaper. Clear blue skies with no wind at all, have been cancelling out any positive effect the moon phase may have. Last two days have been doughnuts for me. |

Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin | Mikie, I have been still catching fish but the action seems to be after dark. I got a 33-incher Monday before dark and a 38 after dark. Last night I got a 37.5 once it got dark. They don't like the light anymore. At lease during this moon phase. It makes for long, tired, days at work. See ya soon. |

| To answer your question Mike...
I burned a 48+ on Saturday morning..It just missed my suick by a 1/4 of a second on the jerk boatside.....SHEESH..as Worrall would say.
So I look at the weather for Sunday and see a major front coming down from Hayward towards the lake I was fishing. Me and Hintz get there at 4:30pm just as the front blows in. The wind is blowing on the spot I moved that big girl. The moon is about to rise, its the day before the full and my fishing watch is lighting up like a freeking christmas tree....
NOTHING...except a porpuse by her after our 4 trip down that weed line. I think she ate just before I got there or something..LOL
August moon sucks...water temps are still mid seventys....we need 60's. I prefer a Aug and Sept moon that come later in the the month when water temps are cooler. Early month moons are not a good, due to warmer water temps. Sept might be good if we get somewhat of a cool down. But the early Oct full will be Awesome this year.

Yesterday, Sue I moved two during Rhinelander Muskie League on the moonrise period, both reasonably agressive, but no takers. Once the moon was up, that again was it. |

| I got a 34 on Pewauke Sunday night, 1/2 hour before moonrise. Stayed for another hour and a half and nothing else. Course, that doesn't necessarily mean anything! LOL |

Location: Eastern Ontario | I don't have much to go on but I went out for 3.5 hours last night and got a 43 and 41 and that 41 gave me the shakes he fought so damn hard. I don't know but our waters seem clearer this summer even with all the rains and the males are fighting even better then ever. My buddy got a 49 at 9 pm last night as well. |

Location: Eau Claire, WI | Mike fishing up here stinks right now... water levels on rivers, lakes is very very low with little to no flow. Fish are not cooperating worth a darn. I am beyond frustrated on how to get on a pattern...there are a few being caught but very few and very inconsistent.
Best thing about the full moon phase in August is... last nite when I got up around 2:30 to take a pee I didn't have turn the light in bathroom on, there was enough moonlight shining in the window so I didn't have to worry about my aim...:) |

Location: michigan | The full moon has been coupled with front after front here in michigan and the fishing has been awesome!! Monday we went 5/6 and yesterday we went 9/13 with a double header. Biggest fish were 49 and 51". Frank. |

Location: Holly, MI | It sure looks nice rising over the pines in my backyard. Sure wish I was on the water. You guys with the donuts are making me feel a little better. Although I would rather have a no fish day on the water than a no fish day at home or work. |
