| Just wondering if anyone had a chance to try the new Okuma Evx b series rods. Had evx c series and very satisfied with them, both 9'3" heavy and extra heavy. The only thing I wish if they were a bit more stiff at the tip for easier figure 8s. Anyone has had a chance to try them or had a chance to look at them, please let me know. New blank technology, so hoping for a bit more stiffness at the end. Just order one vis Musky Shop, the only place I could find them, so any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Not wanting to start another topic, just wondering if anyone ever used guide services from Kurt's Island Sport shop. We'll be staying at Big Arbor Vitae for the third week of June. Since we're renting a boat this is the only lake we'll be fishing. Contacted the Musky Shop but the earliest available date was June 14 which is about a half way to our trip, and was looking for a guide for Monday so we can get familiar with the lake early in our trip. Contacted Kurts and they had June 12 available with the owner of the shop. If you have any feedback, please let me know. |
