Location: Apparently where the Muskie aren't | I know it's a very small detail but do you guys have a personal preference of grub style tails and ribbon style tails on your gliders? Like I said it's a small detail but I was reading about some people preferring the ribbon style. Does it have a slower less erratic wiggle when the lure is in a free fall/pause? I guess I could see how the ribbon would be a big slow wiggle while the grub tail would be almost like a little propeller on the back of a 5oz lure. I've only used the grub tails. |

| Grub style for me but truthfully I haven't tried a Ribbon style yet... My biggest preference is tail down is all. |

Location: NE Ohio | i always find out from the maker which tail they are using, and use them. if it was designed to run with it i want to duplicate it not re-invent the wheel. |

| B Nelson, why do you prefer tail up? I used to do that on a jig grub walleye set up but I believe tail down has better action and kinda makes the head dart down .00132% more. Haha |

Location: Madison, WI | Grub style and tail up for me as well. Seems the back hook doesn't catch the tail as often when it's up. |

Location: Pewaukee, WI | Tail up for me as well. It seems like you get a nice flutter on the tail as the glider sinks. |
