| those huge lakes your gonna hear about every color and hear black, black and orange and white about 10 diff times....lot of factors come into this like time of year weather sky conditions, etc |

Location: Contrarian Island | I throw black blades and chartreuse blades 98% of the time on LOTW... putting lots of big ones in the boat each trip.... last year 2 over 51.25
some guys swear by nickel blades, some say copper, some say gold.. you can pretty much throw any color at em and catch fish ..use your favs |

Location: Waukee, IA | What ever color appeals to you. I prefer to match water color to lure color (clear water with natural colors, dirty water with bright colors) but 95% of that is because I THINK that's how it should be. Fish don't care despite what some will say |

So funny, I've been doing the opposite lately. Bright on clear, dark on dirtier. From what I've heard, colors on LOW tend to change year to year too. I can't remember which show it was but Bill Sandy just made some random double ten with random colored material, caught fish with it. Just put something on and fish. |
