It's about time someone boots my pic off the cover.

Couldn't have been a better guy for the job.

Way to be Cory!

How about more of the story behind that 52 ???

Cory~
I wanted to thank you for the help you gave me with Eagle Lake.
It paid off for us.
My buddy that went with me nailed a beautiful fat 50 incher. I moved my share of huge fish, but just couldn't get them to open their mouth.
NEXT TIME!!
Anyway .... thanks! Hopefully you can get down here next spring and do some fishing with me.

Thanks Guys!

Here's the story behind the fish.....

We were fishing a steep rock wall when I asked Donnie (Hunt) something to the effect of why are we only throwing prop baits instead of jackpot style. He said don't know, here throw this top Prey. I snap it on as Donnie makes a cast with his bucktail. In comes this pig after his bucktail. I think she goes around once or so but heads back to the rock wall. I make a cast the direction the fish was heading and made 4-5 jerks of the surface bait before the calm water exploded. We get her in the net and measure her up....52 inches

Donnies Son weston had grabbed the video camera when the fish hit so we have most of the fight, net and photo shoots on video...Never forget that trip.

Then the real kicker....we go to the next spot 20 minutes later and a true whale takes a swipe at the bait but misses....that fish had been spotted before and she would have been pushing 40 lbs.....I think I would have died if I caught that fish too!!! Save that one for the trip back in two weeks!!!!

Cory
