Thoughts? I know the SD is new, but I really like the colors compared to the Shad. Looks like the SD is a little more expensive too.

Colours catch fishermen ( and that's the first step ) timing, location, and presentation catch fish. If I had solid black or solid white I wouldn't feel handicapped.

Shads are great, hollow body does make them pretty tender. Mag shads really take a beating , fishing awhile back and my buddy was gluing mag shads back together every night. Nice problem to have, 12 Muskies in 3 and half days. I am definatly going to look at solid baits, Poseidon and SD

*i bought a poseidon and a swimmin dawg at the show...and own a few shadzillas. Interested in throwing all three this season and learning where/when each is the best tool.

The shadzillas have an awesome awesome action. I'm gonna be interested in which one ends up being most durable. I think all 3 are fish catchers. The Poseidon looks tough.

The more detailed paint jobs only help catch more fishermen, not the fish.

The Shadzilla is a lot softer bait, hollow & doesn't hold up as well but that softer plastic also gives the baits a more subtle action, which I prefer over a bait that has more thump.

Been fishing the shad for a few years, one of our go to baits no doubt. We fish generally natural colors which has caught us a lot of fish. Color for us is simple, and proven on different lakes thru the year. When it comes to durability, we have no problems with the shad, but who really cares if you get ripped up especially with 50s, a small price to pay to heat back, or buy new baits. There soft rubber makes them perform with good movement. Hooks have never touched with a file, unless dinged on structure which very rarely has happened. Top notch ammo in are arsenal. Like to se the new SD action, curious.

Bodies on the Shadzillas are replaceable but probably not carried by a lot of retailers but fortunately for me they are made 2 miles from my door. I'm sure they can be ordered from Mike's website.

Try and keep this a secret but I know some guys that are having success trolling them.

Shadzillas catch fish, but they don't hold up as well as other plastics I fish. I have broken my fair share of the jig hooks as well. I bought a Swimmin' Dawg to try this year. I felt the Poseidon, but the body felt too hard for my liking.
