I just got back from an eventful trip (nicest way to put it). Let's see I got a 33, 34, 35, 42 and 48 incher (around 30lbs., checkout photo the "Tony Rizzo effect is going full blown). The reason the fish is now named "Uni" is because it stands for cracking up the lower unit on my rig last Thursday afternoon and had to be towed back to the resort. For Friday the resort owner let me use one of their boats, and the only one left was the smallest one in the fleet a 16 footer or smaller with a 9.9 able run up to the fast speed of 8 mph., but I always said "it is not the size of the boat, but how you use it," (haha) so I had to stay real close to the resort and wouldn't you know it the biggest fish of trip hits (also last day of the trip) my superraider (awesome)and get's me a real nice release and get's me out of my sucide state of mind. Now comes the call to the insurance guy Monday. Oh another story finally got hailed on while we were forced to beach the boat during a bad storm and then I had to strip down to boxers to push the boat off the beach (40mph pusher her up there). Glad to be home, Al

Although the boat manufacturers would like us to think otherwise, you don't need a $35,000 boat to catch fish. Congrats on the nice catch.

Dude, that is a nice fish. Sounds like a good week, sorry about the motor, though. Can't wait to get up there and try it myself. m

Nice fish!! Proves out idea that if you are on good water: 'fish where you can, and if the fish move, you will get one' idea. Hope the lower unit is easily repaired!
