I went out today, which was a bust, but my Abu 5600 C4 started acting funny. It was really cold and my gear kept freezing and the occasional back lash from ice when all of a sudden my antireverse stared to slip. I was using a medussa and when I would go to pull up the handle would reverse about 1/2-3/4 of a full crank. Any thoughts on how to fix this? If so, is this something for a professional or can I fix this with some basic knowledge of the reel?

pull the crank and the star drag. add a couple drops of oil to the AR bearing and the problem will go away.
