i just got a couple mantas from rollie and helens. the one, on the back lip there is a space between the lip and the wood just below the lip...its not loose or nothing, but its just not flush with the wood like it should be....should i send it back and get a new one or what?

I would just fish it!

The body is molded plastic, so you don't need to worry about water seeping into the wood. If you are concerned, call R&H's and see if they will exchange it.

Good Luck!

Those are what is commonly known as the "secondary" lip set; once in the water, the bait begins to chant a "Mantra" as it is seductively worked!:O

think ya oughta jus lock it away.... an dont allow the day, where it hides, deep inside, of big esox mouth... seriously, when it starts mumbling the chantra, rip it violently 6 times, then pause...
