Your thoughts on the Calcutta v. Millionaire. I am looking to upgrade from my 6500's. Thanks

I don't have a Calcutta but I do have The Millionaire CVZ250 series and just love it!!!! It is so smooth and quiet, easy to maintain, If I could afford it I would get a few more

I agree with John

I got them both and its tuff to beat the cv-z(never used the cv-x). I bet the new TE would be an amazing reel if you want to fork out some big cash.

I would highly recomend getting the millionare. I talked to the guys at rollie and helens and they told me to go with the diawa, they also said for the money you are getting more with the diawa. I have had my diawa since last year after my caltalla took a sh**, I can't even come close to telling you a bad thing about the millionare. My buddy tried it out and know he also has one. I am not trying to bad mouth Shimano, but given the info that I got while shopping, I ended up with the millionare and could'nt be happier.
