Hey, a big congrats to my boat partner, Gary Heck (aka GMan), on his personal best last night. His 51"er Tonka fish was his largest to date, and a great metro fish for sure. Nice CPR, too.

Maybe he'll give some details here and we'll even get to see a pic? Hope so. Way to go, G!! You deserve it.

Thanks, Brian. Couldn't have done it without the earlier "lessons" you gave me. She hit about 9:15 on a Topraider, Baby Loon pattern, last night, West Metro Lake. What a rush! Over the past few years I pondered whether I would release or keep a true trophy like this, and last night I had no doubt she deserved to swim away...and did. In my hurry to release her I did not get a girth measurement; I'm estimating about 24 or 25 inches.

Gman, nice fish. Now the question is, what one of your baits did you catch it on?

Congratulations! What a fish!

How is that arm band helping you out by the way? Relieving any pain? I'm thinking about getting one myself.

Good fishin',

Tyler, I got tendoitis earlier this year from some other activities...Doc said Advil, strap and ice it. They all work some, probably in that order; fortunately when you're right handed most of the casting is done by your left with your right thumb on the spool. Strap was only $9 at Target...I'd get one if you are having similar "tennis elbow" issues.
