Posts: 1430 Location: Eastern Ontario | Sorry for taking this to the main board but the match fishing one and e-mails have failed. Hello July is almost gone and we need to set a date for your demize. Please do this ASAP as I have a very busy schedual and need to set this up ahead of time. Only 2 weeks left and I am guiding most of the last one. I gave you a list of dates in my last e-mail.

Posts: 4266 | Get a stand-in. The only place that I'm walking to is the slaughterhouse. Beav

Posts: 32958 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | OK, TM, we are prepared to kick in the general direction of your hinder on the 26th, 27th, or 28th. We need to set one of these three for the other team too, but may get a slight waiver from the Match Fishing King if we ned to extend by a day or two. Let's Rumble, oh Canadian Master of the Rivers!! Let us know. If any of these won't work, we can try to beat you in an evening, as ridiculous as that might be to try.

Posts: 4266 | Steve, take half of a day, take your sons boat and got hit Lake X. She should be prime right about now. Then you still have half a day around your home waters. But make sure that you blindfold Kevin and put him in the trunk on the way there. Beav

Posts: 1430 Location: Eastern Ontario | I guess we will have to take the 26th as thats my only open date, I guide on 27 and 28th. Maybe you can try for the 29th that would be better for me. Beaver I am not going to fish lake X that is full on smaller fish but I will go after my 40+ fish on my trophy waters. I think 3 of them should do us fine and get us into next round. I went out and tried some new waters today, we did great with 9 fish caught on 8 and 10 inch crankbaits (10 to 14 feet of water) spinnerbaits and 10 inch sledges in under 10' of water and all were trolling. The only probelm they all had the wrong kinda spots.

Posts: 4266 | Oh Richard, you must be thinking of a different Lake X. The Lake X that I fish is where I cut my muskie fishing teeth. You'll catch 2 on a good day, and they are seldom short. This Lake X is 100+ feet deep, full of Ciscos and trout and the skis grow big and fat. But seeing that we can't troll, you have to hit what castable structure there is and hope that the LAKE ASSociation hasn't sprayed the remaining cabbage beds because they saw a piece of milfoil. Posts: 4266 | If you can hit it on a weekday, you could definitely make contact with a few of those piggies. Make sure and take note at the landing, there is a new exotic species in Lake X......Rainbow smelt. Ironically the DNR put them in there and now they are finding out that when the walleyes come in to spawn, the smelt are eating the eggs. Smelt are too small to spear I guess. So, let's see....ciscos, trout, smelt, 100 feet deep, about 2,000 acres and very narrow....BUT YOU CAN"T TROLL IT! Screw it. I'm retiring in 7 years and moving to MN where I can fish well-managed waters. I'll just have to come to Madison to watch my daughter play hockey. I'll have the only place on a lake in MN flying a Badger flag. Beaver, soon to be Gopher

Posts: 941 Location: Freedom, WI | sworral - With this short of a notice, we will fish Sunday morning, the 27th, on a lake close to here. Even just fishing the morning, we should be able to kick butt Roger
