A lot of guys wait all year for the cooler fall days. What do you do when the weather doesn't play along? Seems like it has been a relatively warm fall and I for one seem to struggle when confronted with warmer days in late Oct- Dec.

Whats everyone's go to tactic when you get a few warm days higher than normal late fall water temps?

I pushed my long weekend up north back 2 times now. I'm watching for a water temp that I have had success with in the past. Last weekend and next weekend will not get anywhere near what I like so I moved it to the 10th. Fingers crossed. I know fish still eat during these warm spells but my luck has been slow during those times. I hope it works out.

Stalled or warming water temps in fall kill the bite, but only 30 days of fishing left here in MInn gotta go when I can. Slow gliders Jerkos, reef hawgs and soft taps with rod tip.

I've had a pretty good fall... Not exceleent but I'm seeing them and catching a few here and there. Dawgs over weeds. Good luck to all of us that are in the final stretch. One of these winters I'll convince the wife to let me to go to Melton Hill in the winter

Exactly the same here, I'll be in northern WI 10-13th. Hopefully the weather cooperates this time.
