I have a question, what is the difference between the old style trigger seats on the St. Croix Legend Tournament rods vs the new ones. I have (2) slingblades and they have a larger trigger, I REALLY like these better. Is this what everyone is talking about?

Thanks, Steve

Yep the newer ones are set back a little more and angled. more of a palming reel seat where you have all 4 fingers in front of it. I like this style better than the other style too. I know a lot of guys don't.

Thanks for the answer. I like it better because when I cast I can put more fingers on the trigger and get greater power in the cast. I don't palm the reel so I guess for me this s a different benefit than what was intended.
