anyone know that model of bow roller that is moving and seems to lift the bow when loading boat ? can i stop it from moving ? is it really needed ?
it is on a stratos 219F 1997 trailer. ok may not be clear! lol

the bow roller is on hinged arms that is held by a spring so that it doesn't go to low when the boat is unloaded and when i load the eye pushes the roller back to the winch.
the hinge point is below on the winch post, you can see the bolt head and there is a pin welded to stop it. first trailer i see like that. from a friend that saw me load the boat it kind of lifted the bow a little !

sorry i may be hard to understand sometimes ,my english is not perfect (since i am french )lol. none of you guys ever use or saw those trailers ?
