Some question on rubber baits for fall - bulldawgs and medussas.

Are these baits a viable option for this time of year or is the jerking, lifting, darting actually too much action for now until ice up?

Would a recommendation be to switch to a shallower version of these baits or work them slower more of a long pull then a "jerkier" fashion?

Any rubber bait aficionados care to offer up some advice for fall rubber ?

They shine for me as they get deeper and stay deeper in the water. After the lakes flip I am usually out deeper.
