Hey Guys,

It's been about 15 years since I've been up north of the Twin Cities fishing Rush Lake. Thinking of heading up there one of these days.

I think it's gets pretty green and soupy. What can I expect for boat traffic on a weekend? I hope it's not as bad as a metro lake!

Thanks - Midge

guessing it's boiling right now,,fishing bad or good the resort has one kick ass patio restraint bar that's nice to pull in and take a break at.

On a weekend you can plan on getting in line for spots. Haven't been out recently because temps are too high.

I had a feeling people would be chiming in about water temps. I pretty much did this post as a test to see if that's the responses I would get.

Thanks for the tip on boat traffic and the bar. I love bar. Love to stop for a beer.

How about the algae? Is it like pea soup?

I'm planning a taking the kids pan fishing and checking the lake out for future musky fishing depending on water temps.
