I have never docked a boat overnight. I have a new 2016 boat and i don't know if i can bring my self to do it. Will find out this Thursday night.
Any tips would be helpful.

Who docks and who trailers it for the night?

I would say depending on the dock. I've stayed where the dock was on the main lake I pulled it out at night .others where it's a sheltered Bay I'll leave it on the dock

I treat my boat very well, and it is important to me to keep it as close as I can to the way I bought it... with that being said, protected marina or bay, while and the she stays in the water. I bring my own bumpers and dock lines.Nothing beats walking out to the dock in the A.M., unplugging, and being on your way.

What short strike said, bring your the correct docking supplies and you'll be fine. Don't rely on the resort to have that stuff. Power wash and wax your boat after. You'll never know it sat in the water.
