My 400 TE is making some noise when i cast and reel. I greased it and took off the cap on the bottom but didn't see an adjustment screw. Ideas? Thx

There is no adjustment. When you take the line guide pawl cap off there should be a small washer in the bottom of the cap, or it maybe stuck to the backside of the pawl. The pawl is what's inside the line guide housing, and if it is worn down could cause you some minor noise but more importantly may start skipping a beat or getting stuck on one side of the worm shaft. First thing would be to replace the pawl, and make sure you have the washer in place.
