| Alright guys who's got Away to make topwater baits Screech, I've seen other guys do this but no one has ever told me how to do it. I've tried filing and sanding the blades and the shaft but I've never successfully gotten one to Screech anybody has any tips please let me know. |

Location: oswego, il | I think what you need is a little corrosion. Try some saltwater on the rivets and shaft. |

| Hang it out the window while driving down the highway....this is not a joke.
They will screech when they are "worn in" a bit. Some baits don't take much, Lake X topwaters for instance, all mine started screeching just after a few outings with them.
If you notice, on a Lake X lure, the bead that is in contact with the tail prop is shrink tubed in place, so the bead will not spin, the prop creates friction against it and starts squeeling after a while.
You can do this yourself with other topwaters as well. |
