Subject: French River

Anyone ever fish this? I was thinking about making a trip there but I don't want to have to troll to catch them. Is there any structure to cast to or is it all trolling?
Thanks
Bob

I've been to the upper French river several times and have a trip planned this september. You don't have to troll to catch muskies. I've caught them both ways casting and trolling. There is tons of structure for the caster. Rocks , rock reefs, boulders weed flats, sunken islands, etc. Jerkbaits and black bucktails with silver blade do well. Jim
