Heading down to the folks for Mother's Day weekend, and thought I'd bring the boat and get in a little action since the ten horse limit isn't in effect yet. Haven't been on Macbride in over 30 years, so basically clueless. Any particular boat ramp better than others? How busy should I expect it to be? Do I need to make sure I get there before sun up, to make sure I get a parking spot? Any tips would be appreciated.

I'm not a regular on the lake but if the weather is nice I would expect it to be very very busy. Last time I went I showed up to the ramp by the dam mid morning and only found a parking spot because someone else was leaving right as I got there.

Thanks, kinda figured that would be the case. No big deal to me, as most of the lakes I fish, are a three ring circus by about 10:00 am on nice days. I just make sure I get there early enough to get some good fishing in before the chaos. Would still like any info. on better or worse boat launches, unless there really is no differences between them.

I've really only used the one by the dam but it will accommodate any size boat easily. Beautiful lake, hope you stick a couple!
