Posts: 48 Location: Twin Cities | What's the best map to get for Vermillion? Needs to be a hard copy because we rent boats so don't have electronics besides the basic ones that come with rentals. Thanks

Posts: 42 | Stop at Springbay, they have the high definition Hot Maps. It is the only place I am able to still find them, I believe they are out of print. It is a great map.... Be careful without a chip.

Posts: 2026 | That print map won't help much at night... Some of the boats up there have gps units. If you're going during the summer outing I'll let you use my portable setup.

Posts: 48 Location: Twin Cities | AR - Thanks that's very kind of you. Yes we are going up for the M1st summer outing. First time on Vermillion so we're really looking forward to it.

Posts: 2026 | Sounds good. PM me sometime to talk before then and check with Steve and Joe. There's a couple sneaky areas, but not many out west, and you'll want to do some night fishing. Unfortunately for you, not me, I fish with someone at the outing, in his boat, so there aren't many waypoints for the west side.
