Location: Davenport, IA | I'll be heading up to Hayward on Sunday. I'll be staying on Lost Land Lake but may fish another lake or two in the area. I can't wait, it'll be my first time going "up north" to go fishing. |

Musky opener on Lake St Clair!!!!!
I told my wife I'll be long gone when she wakes up and don't expect me back until way after dark. She replied.."don't bother coming home until you have caught a Muskie" <--she cool or what? Hope I don't have to pull an all nighter. |

Location: Sheldon, IA | I will be going to Spirit Lake tomorrow to try my luck on the toothy critters there. Will also fish for walleyes (bait) as my nephew is going along. Can't wait to try all the new lures I bought this winter. |

| The second wettest month on record here this past month, and today's forcast calls for 2-3" of additional rain, probable flooding...I will hang out here after work, do some menial chores, and fish for compliments from the Spongette. The advantage of living at a higher elevation is the fact that the rain hits here before it does down below us; if water reversed direction and ran uphill, then I would have cause for concern...let us hope for things to remain the same... |
