Been out 2X for about a total of 6 hours, water is pretty green, weeds are up, and the fish are hiding from me.

I went out 2 times last week. Both days stunk. I raised one on Sat. On Tuesday I didn't even see a fish. Both days were very sunny and dead calm. I threw everything from jigs to jerks. Hope you have better luck. Let me know how you do.
Good Lungen,
Joel

the first three weeks of season the fish were prety active as far as follows, only caught three dinks. After that the action realy died off. There was A 48 caught by a guy bass fishing {dead} and I heard about a 50 1/4 in the livewell of a boat on the trailer so it is likely dead also.

I have fished this lake a ton of times. Never even seen a pike let alone catch one. I have caught bass, walleye, a seagull and had gar swipe my baits but never a pike. I know they are there but they shy from me.

The launch is better than it used to be. There is a pier there now so you don't neccesarily need to beach your boat, unless it's busy. The slabs are pretty narrow though. My trailor slipped off of the side the other day, and I cracked a tail light. Operator error I guess.
Good lungen,

John,
If you want to hit the water this week in the evening, let me know. I usually get out there around 7 and fish to 9 or 9:30. Send me a message.

I've never fished this lake but would like to try later in the season.  Someone once told me that there is a horsepower limit.  Is that true?

Is it a deep lake or relatively shallow?

Dpratt: no horsepower limit, just restrictions on when you can run hot, I know in the morning you can't break a wake til after 10AM.

There is no H.P. limit but it is no wake before 10am and after 7pm. Be careful the silver lake navy loves to hand out tickets.
