Posts: 28 | Someone tell me the what's the deal with the craze going on about this lure. I have found a Fat Bastard and a Cannon ball Jr. for sale. Both new. Are they worth 50 bucks a piece? I've searched different sites and no one seems to have this lure anywhere, always sold out. Maybe that's my answer. Why are they so different than maybe say a "whopper plopper" they both look to have a similar design.

Posts: 264 | I have a few Fat Bastards and Dr. Evil's (smallest version) No Cannonball or Cannonball Jr. Nicely made, good sound in the water. Pike in the Northwest Territories pounded them last year. Have not boated a muskie on one yet. $50? Check Rollie & Helen's first. I believe they just got stock on these. Talmooner

Posts: 529 | The Musky Shop currently has black, silver baitfish, and walleye in stock along with the black and red tail northern lights version. They however now have one less of the black and the silver baitfish... ![]()

Just to be clear, the OP indicated he had found a Fat Bastard and Cannonball on E Bay for $50 each. My "$50?" was as "worth fifty?". Which was why I suggested checking Rollie & Helen's as I thought they had gotten some in stock. Was not trying to sell for $50 just suggesting a possible source for a standard retail price. Posts: 28 | I went the Rollie & Helen's store and purchased a Lake X Dr. Evil. with shipping it was $30.00. Your 'higher class" muskies would never put a cheap bait in their mouth. After all, I'm certain they can tell the difference between a 12 dollar bait and a 60 dollar bait. Looks like I'll be going after the "middle class" musky. ![]()

Posts: 1283 | The paint is not so durable but they work great. Put multiple fish in the net and tons of follows last year.
