I have a Humminbird 597 CI HD DI unit and want to get a Lakemaster Minn. chip for it but the ones I see in Cabelas state they are not compatible with this unit. what do I need??

You just want the basic lakemaster chip, I think they're up to version 5.0 now.

I'm not sure Cabelas info is correct; here's Humminbird's compatibility list:

Thanks, think I will have to update my Humminbird with their free download to use the current chips.
