I am going to try to do some rattle bait fishing this spring. My question is what size baits have you had luck with and what size hooks do you run on them??

I like the 1 oz size (about 4"). Favorite hook for rattle baits are the black chrome Owner ST-41 stinger trebles, size 1 (not 1/0). The leader I prefer is a fairly light solid wire about 6" in length, with no bearing swivel and split ringed directly to the rattle bait.

I would like to know the hook size people put on the 1/2, 3/4 and 1 ounce size.
