I'm in the market for a new reel this expo season. I've got it down to the Revo Toro S. I'm thinking I might as well get a new rod, too. Anybody know, or any ideas if the Revo Toro S will be paired with something at the shows? What do the "combos" usually run? I've only ever been a lure buyer at the shows...looking forward to a new toy this year!

Thanks,
Steve

Throw that bad boy on a TI 9' XH and you will be a happy man for about $350.

Check on eBay for the reel. Have seen brand new ones going for 180 to 200

Got a toro S 60 on ebay for 189 and it's a pretty slick reel.. Lot of options on rods.

I have the TI XXH rod, which I'll probably put the toro S on. I'm just wondering about options as far as if Fenwick will pair with the toro S reels at the shows and what I could possibly get as a backup rod or jerkbait rod.

I put a Toro S on a Legend Elite this past fall. If you have the money to spend $800.00 on a setup I cant say enough good things about this combo.

Steve, check the 13 fishing rods. They're pretty nice actually and very reasonably priced. Or you could always switch to the fly gear

I'm sure Abu will have combos with the S for sale at the shows. Their combos are very reasonably priced. The bonus is their rods are very high quality.

Stop by the TI booth and take a look at our new 9-6, 10 and 10-6 telescopic rods too. You might fall in love Also stop by the Migizi booth. Vince usually has some really good deals on NaCl reels with power handles.

I will certainly be stopping by the TI booth. I really want to try out the longer telescopic rods. Looking for the best rod for tossing 9 blades all day with a revo toro beast. I am excited to get my hands on them.
