What type of leaders you guys using for the small baits like a 6 inch Jake, 4” Phantom, Rapala Super shad, Zara Super Spook, Blue Fox #5 Musky Buck and similar baits of these sizes?
Also, do you downsize the line? I'm think 50lb braid should be sufficient? |

| Stealth Tackle Spring leader is what I use on all small baits.. Works great.

Location: Almond, WI | I sometimes make them with Cortland Toothy Critter Wire which you can tie or fuse the nylon coating (or both). I use 50lbs. I have also used the Bucher pike leader which is single strand and I think 44lbs. |

| Those are the size of baits i like to throw for pike. I buy a spool of 90lb stainless single strand and #4 stayloks. Works great. Either a solid ring or a swivel on the other end.
