Posts: 239 Location: Illinois | I'm sure that this has been touched on before, but as a refresher, is there a time and a place to use a single blade verse a double bladed bucktail? Time of year, clarity of water, forage in a particular lake, depth, etc... Just curious!

When there's been a lot of pressure on the lake you're fishing & everyone & their uncle that's fishing around you is throwing double bladed baits with not much success then that would be a good time to throw the smaller single bladed buck tails.

Posts: 9 | You're normally pushing a double harder. With two guys in the boat you should always be changing it up until you see what's hot. One guy with a single, one a double, One guy with a crank, one guy with a bucktail, One guy with one color, one guy with another.

Posts: 1283 | Singles have been on fire for me this year. Specifically a single Indiana 9 blade has out produced everything else.
