I need to share something with you all. This glider was made as a donation for the Operation Muskie auction. Mike King was the one who coordinated these getting into the auction. Today that bait came back to me in the mail. Mike bid this bait up and won it. He knew how much this bait meant to me and gave it back to me. I am overwhelmed!

The inspiration for this bait came from my hero. my grandfather. He was a world war 2 vet who received many medals including the bronze star and Purple Heart with the 25th infantry in the South Pacific. He was also the person that instilled the love of the water and north woods that flows through my veins. He taught me to fish and is the reason I fish Muskies today.

Thank you Mike for you generosity and for all that you have done for Operation Muskie and the vets and for your service to our country. You are a true American hero.

I can't agree more that Mike is a CLASS ACT. He is a Vet that participated in Operation Muskie. Since then, he has been helping us raise $. Why? Because he wants to make sure other Vets have the same opportunity. That is awesome. The last 2 years, Mike has donated a TON of lures for the auction. He also worked with guides and companies to have them donate. This year at the Milwaukee show, he donated his time to work the OM booth the entire weekend.

Thanks Mike for your service as a Vet and your generosity supporting Vets!

Besides being a vet he is just a plain old good person. Everybody who has talked to him or even met him once has said the same thing. Great guy.

Cool bait, and a tip of my cap to those who served.
