Finally got a chance to get out to the lake and scope things out. Water temps were warmer then expected. 64.5 on the northern lakes and as I headed south I found 70.3. This was a day when the sky was overcast and the air temps were in the lower fifties. I would suspect the spawn is over and it's time to eat. Water was pretty clear with 3 - 4 ft visibility. You will have to search hard to find weeds. Too early. Casted for a few hours and didn't see any muskies but popped a 40" Northern. Get out there soon before the pleasure boaters take over.

Been out a few times now and same water temps as you have seen. Fishing has been good to us and have seen lots of muskies.

Was out yesterday. Water temps dropped to 61 but still fairly clear. Lost one in the low 40s, had one nice mid 40s come in super hot with its snout literally touching the bait. It went into the 8 but turned off after the first turn. Ended the day with a pike. Not as much action as last week but we still saw a dozen fish.

We have been out 4 times so far this year with nothing but a bunch of follows. We have had a few nips, but none active enough to slam it. We have had follows on small crankbaits and smaller jerkbaits. Good luck at the tournament, i hope the weather holds off for you guys.
