| I bought some Spiderwire Invisi-Braid to try for the first time this year. I really like the feel of it and it doesn't hold that much water; however, I have had some serious issues with it fraying (already lost one bucktail). I'm guessing I just got a bad spool, but thought I would check to see if anyone else had similar problems. |

| Been using this line for almost a decade, and never had any issues. IMHO, it's the best line there is. I cast father, fewer backlashes (and when i do, it doesn't bury), doesn't hold as much water in Fall, etc.
Agree with those saying to check your rods with a Q-tip...or maybe its possible you got a bad batch. I use 80lb, what are you using? |

| Guides on the rod are fine. I really liked the feel of the line, and I have had zero backlash issues in the short time I have used it. I am using 50 pound. I bought it for smaller springtime ducktails. It sounds like I might have just gotten a bad spool. I have never experienced anything like that, though. |
