| After a near 35 year absence from Musky Im going to regain my youth and attempt
to seduce the beast this Oct on Eagle. Started to order trolling cranks....1st shop/stop was for some Triple D's....nice build and finish but, how best to troll? Lookin at some headlocks too. Advice most appreciated. Should I expand my inventory? After years of successful contour trolling 4 walleye I have skills in boat control.
Ok will never regain my youth but would like to catcha musky.

Location: varies | There's so many good ones out there.
believers, hookers, slammers, tuff shads, hose baits, and on and on..if going to do it for a week or so, I wouldn't invest a whole lot into too many baits, but if your at the age where you troll only and are going to keep at it, certainly pick up more in a variety of sizes. |

| I have had great success trolling dpuble and triple ds. They really shine when ripped trolled, hold on tight on the pause! |

| I love triple D's for casting as a jerk bait, but IMO there are better trolling baits, I would not go to Canada trolling without some 10" Jakes and 9" Grama's ...Headlocks and 10" believers are very good too. |

Location: On the X that marks the mucky spot | When trolling Canada you should try to use floating baits. You're going to find LOTS of rocks and if you have a sinking/neutral bait chances are you'll be leaving it up there. |
