Is anyone using one of these rods? If so what do you think? I'm wondering how the XH does with Pounders or Big blades.

I've only handled them in Cabelas and they feel like nice rods but they are noticeably heavier even before you strap a reel on one. If that doesn't matter to you then the 9'0XH would be a solid rod for those applications

The XH would be your best bet. If you haven't handled one of these yet, you need to before you buy it. These rods weigh quite a bit more than you'd expect.
