So instead of mounting it to my head id like to have it under water angled at my incoming bait. I can't find much online but I was thinking of mounting to a cane shaped pole so I can just hang it over the boat. This is for casting not trolling btw.

Most if not all of my fish on LSC have been boat side and the water is so clear I figure this is a good idea.

Does anyone do anything similar?

I would guess a suction cup mount might work. Of course you'd want an insurance cable to keep from losing it to the depths.

Facebook message him. Probably most effective.

I have seen them mounted to the motor on a trolling motor. This would allow you to rotate it and not be an additional thing hanging in the water.

Trolling motor mount I am considering it myself with water being over 20' visibility where I fish. Aqua vu micro cam to a recording box/AV out so I can but a 12 volt TV and see bass under docks or what the bottom composition is in real time.

I sell hobie kayaks that are geared for fishing. We carry a ram mount mount that is specifically made for a gopro. Uses pvc pipe and has mulitple joints for better angle.

I'm going to head to Lowes to see what I can piece together. The season doesn't start for another month so I have time to build and test some options.
