Tried pouring a new color creature for the opener. Its called Purple/brown. The baits look purple, but in water they appear Brown. Mark that pours the Hellkat had several big fish take this color last year. SO, wanted to try it in Jig/creature size.

It reminds me of a color we used for bass and musky back in the 80's. Interesting to see if fish eat this strange color.

Mr Worrall: What color was it called in the 80's??? Here is your Clue  ... It starts with a CH_______

Being a creature Man, this should be easy!

Those look great! Question on the curly tail, being thick like that, do you have to keep the creature moving quicker than you would the other ones?

Todd, No , Tail twist very easily....the holes in the tail slows the fall as water sifts through. I think the tail motion is pretty much the same as any wide tail grub. might even be a tad thinner than some marketed grubs. Many guys like this tail.....very visible!

The paddles need to be burst off the bottom to get the tail to kick. I prefer this action anyways, as you want the fish to hit on the drop. Some  guys like to dead stick in the late fall, so the paddles have cork in the tails to lift creatures up off the bottom. Using  a stand up or pyramid jig head, really elevates your plastic off the bottom and both help with hookups!
