Was at the MN Sportsmans Expo last night, spoke the abu guys and he affirmed me we won't see the Revo Toro Beast til next year. I've been hearing this year but he said that ain't gonna happen. Just thought everybody should know.

I heard that yesterday as well. Kind of a bummer, I'll just have to wait another year.

What was going to be the difference with the Beast vs NACL?

He said it is somewhat the answer to the tranx but similar to the NACL, will be larger though but hopefully easier to palm better drag/components. didn't give too many specifics.

It's claimed to be a low-pro with oversized gears and high line retrieve rate like the TranX. Essentially a size up from the NaCl. Nothing seems to be certain though, as people who have used them are hush hush, and it's still partially in development

Decode what 'next year' means. I used the reel for a couple weeks last Fall. It's a very, very nice reel.
