| There are fish in Clear Lake! Muskies even! In fact the fishery must really be coming along cause I even caught one during this years Heartland Chapter's tournament. The weather was great and 38 guys boated a total of 6 fish 28-39" My fish was a healthy 30 1/2" fighter! I also had 5 others up including one that pushed 42"
Congrats to the Heartland chapter for hosting a great event! The food, beverages, prizes and hospitality was great!
One last thing... Clear Lake has a clarity of approx. 4' this year and some of the credit goes to groups like the Heartland chapter of Muskies Inc.
Great job guys! See you in 2004!

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | I liked the overall lay of the water last year, but the two days of horizontal rain kept the fishing pretty tough. Glad to hear the system is doing so well; sounded like alot of effort had gone into the muskie project there. |
