Finally bit the bullet and started making my own Bucktails. Its pretty addicting. Here is what I have made so far. Need to work on making my ties alittle cleaner. Criticism and suggestions are welcome. It will only make me better.

Nice patterns! I don't know if you used a butt weight, but I would opt for a 3/8 oz. or heavier keel weight to prevent twisting.

Thanks for the input guys. I do have a 3/8 oz weight on them, but I may go to a 1/2 oz depending on my blade size. My favorite is probably the firetiger as well. It turned out pretty good.

Very nice, I have no complaints here. Your ties look fine and as long as they catch fish and they will no ones going to care if they look a bit messy.

They look good. When I make mine I prefer the blade to be closer to the tied coil. When I hold up the bait with the blades hanging down, I like for the bottom edge of the blade to be about in in the middle of the threads of last tie. Yours looks to have more spacing between the blades, which is fine but when I had more spacing in between the blades & the tied coil the smaller muskies that would hit from the side wouldn’t get hooked up. A second hook would resolve that but I personally don’t like having that second top hook because it catches more weeds & tangles up in the net more.
