Location: Scandia MN | Clicking around this morning and found a place called Medicine Stone resort that claims to have a remote muskie lake that you can drive to from their lodge. Apparently it's on their private road and they supply boats. Anybody ever been to or heard of this place? |

| never been...but looking at it,..as the crow flies, Upper Medicine is less than 5 miles from the Long-Legged chain of lakes, those lakes are know muskie producers, I'm sure some small lakes in that area have skis' too, since they are known to "migrate" up and down streams.

| Long Legged looks like it would be a really long drive from Medicine Stone.... not many roads up there.
There's 3 small (about 1000 acres combined), connected lakes just north of Medicine Stone Resort, about 5 miles (by road), that all have muskies in them. Flat, Russet, and Spires... I have no idea if there is a public access on any of them but there is some development on Flat and the small town of Madsen is right there as well. |
