Posts: 4266 | Did you spray it on? The look is so well distributed, it's some of the best glitter work that I've ever seen. I'd eat it.

Posts: 791 Location: WI | Thanks guys. Beaver some things must remain trade secrets ! Lol. Reality is it's a bunch of steps to create depth. I know I always say this but pics don't do it justice.

Posts: 4266 | Well, bring it to the muskie show....I promise to wear a bib. I used to work on adding depth when I made gliders. But now that I'm making cranks for a while I tried to keep the extra thickness and weight to a minimum. When I was making gliders there were some special effects that I used that had to be applied to Envirotex.I tried to cheat and wound up with a mess. So I would put on one coat of Etex and the apply the special effects, then another coat and then put on scales of another effect then add glitter to the third coat of Etex and that was it. 3 coats on a glider will help if you have it weighted properly, but none of them looked much like that one. Are you coming to Milwaukee? Would love to see some of your stuff up close.

Posts: 791 Location: WI | Todd, I went to the store and bought $50 worth of glitter the other day. As I was being rang up I said something to the effect that I wasn't a stripper and she didn't find it nearly as Funny as me. There will be some cool stuff to come.
