Kstenz - 11/14/2010 12:07 PM tmag - 9/14/2009 7:43 PM Does anyone know who did 50orbetter's replica? Based on my many years experience as a Fish Taxidermist, I would guess Advanced Taxidermy did it. And if anyone wants to really see a really good detailed Fish Replica, you should visit your state Taxidermy Association's annual competition or better yet, if you are anywhere close to St. Charles, MO this next May (2011), check out the World Taxidermy & Fish Carving Championships. Most would see quality you never knew existed... This is my 1st post here, if I can figure out how to attach photo will show one of my Musky Replica's. Kevin Stenzel Artistic Creations www.stenzelfish.com good job on that one, that pics make me prefer a closed mouth, look way more natural

Posts: 216 Location: Middletown, Ohio | Here are a couple shots of my muskie reproduction. It's a 42" that was my first muskie that I caught at Cave Run, KY. The repo is from Jim Alred Taxidermy and I painted it myself. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v444/FUBAR_IV/Fish%20photos/musky... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v444/FUBAR_IV/Fish%20photos/musky... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v444/FUBAR_IV/Fish%20photos/musky... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v444/FUBAR_IV/Fish%20photos/musky... Here are a couple shots of a Largemouth that I also did. It is a Dennis Arp 3D repo http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v444/FUBAR_IV/Fish%20photos/bassr... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v444/FUBAR_IV/Fish%20photos/bassr... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v444/FUBAR_IV/Fish%20photos/bassr... Posts: 101 Location: Niagara on the Lake, ON | Hand wood carved 57 inch musky. Not mine, something that Hans the Carver brought into our studio when we had him on the show to talk about carving musky out of wood and fishing the Niagara (Hans is a cofounder of red october baits)

Posts: 221 | I think my first replica will have to go to Hans the Carver. He just finished up another fish and his wood replicas look better than any fiberglass on here. $65 an inch though.
