Posts: 32958 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | The double DD from ERC is the one you wanted, yessiree!! Norm had it right, his thinking was tight, he wins a hat, what do you think of THAT? Now we move on, we try to find the one thing you seek from the depths of your mind.. In the past it was one place, then it's another, a search for the big one, the monster, the mother. An item I'm not, so please don't go there, I'm more of a concept, to be fair.

Posts: 259 Location: Alexandria, MN | "It's just another lure" My number 1 'concept' in Muskie Fishing, is the idea that everything is just another tool. From my rods, reels and lures to my boat and electronics, everything is just a tool that makes muskie fishing more fun, more productive and/or safer. Time on the water is what it's all about. One more cast!

Posts: 393 Location: Kawarthas, Ontario | Okay so it's not the organizations (IGFA and so on), their rules (LAWs) governing records, nor the MNR/DNR rules and regs...so is it about the LAW of AVERAGES - that a WR fish may or may not even exist or the number of hours required fishing on trophy waters to catch a WR. Or another LAW, Art LAWtons disqualified fish? Whether any of these are right or not, at least it's been nice to be on the right track for a change!

Posts: 1996 Location: Pelican Lake/Three Lakes Chain | It seems to me like he very well could be talking about world record fish. It was in one place and now its not... its about the "LAW". Lawtons fish was disqualified bringing the WR back to WI. Many are looking up to me. Who doesn't look up to the WR musky. It must be something to do with the WR musky.

| Is the current WR real? Who really caught the WR fish? Where was the WR fish really caught? How was the WR fish really caught? Do you believe the current WR is real? Do you believe the NY WR is real? Do you believe the Canadian WR is real? This is a heated topic for sure! | |||

Posts: 259 Location: Alexandria, MN | If we are going with the 'law' twist, and the Lawton fish was guessed -- and I think is right -- but just in case it isn't; Are we talking about the 50" size limit? or Spearing? The size limit would help, and the spearing is hurting. 2 'Laws' that need to change.

| Art Lawton's fish was from the St. Lawrence River, which flows from Lake Ontario/Georgian Bay, which is where the current (IGFA) record is from. | |||

Posts: 259 Location: Alexandria, MN | Are you looking for Fishing Regulation? Opening Day for Muskie Fishing ? "I'm more of a concept. To be fair." "I am what I am, I am what I'll be, so many of you are looking up to me." Hunt for the next world record -- "right track, has the idea, has the gist... It's about the LAW it is." Opening day changes every year, it is set when it is to be fair. (gives the fish a chance to spawn) It's the LAW and we are "Looking up to the date when we can start fishing again." Opening day starts the hunt for the next world record. Just a guess to bring it back to page 1.

Posts: 393 Location: Kawarthas, Ontario | How about a PERSONAL BEST? "I'm more of a concept. To be fair." "I am what I am, I am what I'll be, so many of you are looking up to me." Everyone (most anyway) want to beat their PB. Hunt for the next world record -- "right track, has the idea, has the gist... It's about the LAW it is." There are minimum size limits which are LAWS that we must meet even when looking for a PB. Also the LAW of averages says the more time you're spending on the water (fishing) the better the likelihood of beating your PB. Like FNF, just a guess...or the hopes for another clue....
