Posts: 5874 | If the GLIDE path is off, it would be a disaster! Glide bait! hehehe I still got it! Thought of this today while on the road. When I got home, I see the Riddler gave another clue, and that cinched it for me! Edited by Shep 2/13/2004 4:23 PM

Posts: 32958 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Shep my man, you had the plan!! You had the clues, and you paid your dues, now you guessed Glide Path, then Glide Bait, so NOW you win a hat, no bull, but WAIT!! There's MORE!! A glide bait we seek, yes, a glide bait unique, it is one of a kind, one of a supply many times nine. You cannot guess the brand, that will not play. You must select the bait, it's LOCATION, I say. Search as you will, search as you might, remember sometimes my objects hide in plain sight!

Posts: 32958 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | I am a bait, that much is true, but just guessing the brand will do nothing for you. I must be found, and my location be shown, before a MuskieFIRST coffee mug becomes something you own! So do not guess a bait name, I will not say sure, just find me and post me, and the mug, dear hunter, is yours! Attachments ---------------- IMAG0043.JPG (145KB - 152 downloads)

Posts: 2091 Location: Stevens Point, WI | Pikiespawn. The lures pictured are from a company called TRUEGLIDE. They mostly make glide baits, but also make some real nice topwaters. They are hard to find right now,I've got some to test this last season and they worked great. I also like HR'S and I would say that they up there with HR's. I believe that they will be out this year late summer. They want to make sure all of the bugs are worked out before selling them. Here are some pics of the others that I got to test. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Attached file : bass 2.JPG (108KB - 110 downloads) Attached file : heckler.JPG (44KB - 100 downloads) Attached file : white sucker.JPG (53KB - 98 downloads) Attached file : flirts.JPG (32KB - 96 downloads)

Posts: 32958 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Mr Pike, This is a scavenger hunt, requiring many objects to be found to arrive at the end goal. Sometimes, the end goal is figured out VERY early, which is cool.Anyone can guess at what it is I am after in the final analysis anytime, but only a direct exactly accurate answer will get a winner the prize. Another clue: One of the posts above is pretty good, the idea is correct and the bait's made of wood, but find the right one to win the mug, and send us along on our search!!

Posts: 2091 Location: Stevens Point, WI | Subject : RE: What is your favourite glide bait and why? Posted : 2004-02-07 12:37 AM Post #96202 - In reply to #96201 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Being from WV I can say there are many fine baitmakers here. As far as quality, action, and his true to life artwork, hard to beat a Hughes River. I walked in to Reeses Country Store and about lost it. There were a few hundred Hr's hangin there and I had to pick just 3. Another personal favorite of mine is the Dead Head. This bait floats at rest and is very close to neutrally buoyant. It has alot of belly roll and flash. I know of a 45# fish that was caught on one. Price is very reasonable. Undertakers, get one and learn it....Fish will go out of their way to eat these at times. A good way to make your boat partner look like a rookie. I don't really have a favorite, they all seem to work at different times. Since all gliders get their action from the operator, spending lots of time with one particular bait is most important I like this pattern too [Edited by RAZE1 on 2004-02-07 8:12 PM] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Attached file : Hughes Rivers.jpg (45KB - 189 downloads)

Here is a shot in the dark... Is it the new Wabull, new Undertaker, new Slammer Drop Belly? Is it The prize? A day on the water for 2 anglers in Oneida county with Keith Worrall chasing small lake muskies, two night's stay at Worrall's Hideout, six new muskie lures including a new Wabull, a new Undertaker, and a new Slammer Drop Belly, and a guaranteed kick fanny meal in the morning and evening. Is it this Thread?
