Posts: 16632 Location: The desert | From page 23 of the Wisconsin Hunting Regulations for 2012 Lead in Venison Deer harvested with lead bullets have been shown to have tiny lead particles or fragments remaining in the processed meat. These are often too small to be seen and can disperse far from the wound channel. Although lead in venison does not rival lead paint in older homes as a health risk for the public, the risk is not low enough to ignore. Children under six and pregnant women are at the greatest risk from lead exposure. The amount of lead found in a small percentage of venison samples suggests that long term effects of lead consumption could occur in people who regularly eat venison harvested with lead ammunition. However, there is currently no known evidence linking human consumption of venison to lead poisoning. The following measures can reduce your potential exposure to lead in venison: • Consider alternative non-lead expanding ammunition such as copper or other highweight retention lead bullets, such as bonded bullets. • Practice marksmanship and outdoor skills to get closer to your target, making cleaner, lethal shots away from major muscle areas. Aim for the vitals behind the shoulder or the neck. Don’t shoot at running deer. • Avoid consuming internal organs as they can contain extra lead from heart-lung shots. • Process small batches so you can frequently check the grinder and remove lead fragments. • Remind your meat processor to not use deer meat with excessive shot damage. Trim a generous distance away from the wound channel and discard any meat that is bruised, discolored, or contains hair, dirt, bone fragments, or grass. Posts: 8781 | A wise old man once told me: "son... You don't have to hunt. You can buy meat at the store. You don't have to fish. You can buy fish there too. But if you're willing to shove it in your pie hole, you had better be willing to kill it."

Posts: 32886 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Wisconsin Deer Hunting Firearm Season and Wisconsin Archery Season will the truth unravel, even if one resents the places the Riddler insists we must travel. The Riddler lives in a virtual state out of which there are 5 cities, all are quite interesting and the pages quite pretty. If you cannot travel, you get left behind, and can't try for the HUGE lure win because of limitations of the mind. The MOTHER of all Hunts ( ahhh there's the connection) is what we have here, thanks to the Milwaukee Muskie Show and the vendors so 'dear'. The Riddler may take you all over OFM, and end up right back here...or there... now and again. Clue: one is done one way one is done another. Advice: List all the clues on a virtual piece of paper, keep them in order with the answers for later.

Location: SE Wisconsin | Muskie fishing allows you to catch with the option to release for a chance to catch the same fish again when she grows into a HUGE MOMMA. Whitetail hunting involves the pursuit of harvesting the deer without chance of that deer getting any larger and leads into the pursuit of another. Muskies can be released and replicated into a mount after a successful hunt with the chance to catch her again. A successful Whitetail hunt would end up with a skin mount with no option to let'em go and let'em grow. Edited by Sam Ubl 2/6/2013 9:21 AM

Posts: 32886 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | That didn't take long, one answer is quite right, one with a gun and one with a bow is the answer shining light. That's worth a lure, one I need to select, are you attending the Expo? CLUE--There are less than whole twice and 3 that are not....
